After careful planning and organization, the public archaeology party of "Friends of Xu Bo" in Xuzhou Museum gathered on the morning of December 24.
The first stop: the tomb of King Chu at Beidongshan. The Beidong Mountain excavated in 1986 is a large cliff cave tomb of the King of Chu in the Western Han Dynasty. The grand scale, complex structure and unique shape attract everyone to stop and watch. In particular, friends of Xu Bo praised the strange ancillary buildings. Later, I came to the tomb of a stone chamber in the southeast of the tomb of the King of Chu in Beidongshan. It was said that it was the tomb of Sima Huantui, a doctor of the Song Dynasty in the Spring and Autumn Period. It was also verified that it was the tomb of the Queen of Chu in Beidongshan. Everyone enjoyed the stone carvings on both sides of the graveway with great interest and went into the tomb room to check. Although it was not developed, the tomb room was dark, and with the light of the flashlight, it could not stop everyone's interest. Everyone sighed that the Chinese tomb was a cultural continuation of the Chinese nation's human inspiration and emotional memory.

The second stop: the stone tomb of Bai Jihan. The tomb is the best preserved stone tomb of the Eastern Han Dynasty in Xuzhou. The stone carvings are rich in content, and the carving techniques are exquisite and superb. Many friends of Xu Bo, who are fond of Han Dynasty stone reliefs, showed surprise and were completely intoxicated

The third stop: the ruins of the Jiawang Temple. The Miaotaizi site is the key archaeological excavation of our museum this year. Visiting the archaeological site is a special benefit for senior members and also the highlight of this trip. Tian Erwei, the Department of Archaeology, explained on the spot that the Miaotaizi site is a settlement relic of the Western Zhou Dynasty, with a large area of red clay particles, pottery fragments and animal bones visible on the surface. The most important discovery is the first time that a relatively complete site of townhouse buildings in the late Western Zhou Dynasty was found in Xuzhou area. During the close contact and listening, people expressed their feelings: tombs The excavation and arrangement of the site restored the true appearance of thousands of years ago, inherited the civilization, and retained the root vein. It is a physical witness of the splendid history of Xuzhou for thousands of years. At the same time, it also unveiled the mystery of archaeology, enhanced the public's understanding of archaeology, and experienced the hardships of archaeologists.
After the event, we returned at 4 p.m., and we were still full of ideas. We affirmed this rich and meaningful event and hoped that it could continue to be carried out in the future.
