Introduction to Academician Xue Yong

 Xue Yong, male, academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, is currently the director and second-level professor of the Energy and Environmental Remote Sensing Big Data Center of the School of Environment and Mapping, China University of Mining and Technology. He has won one second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and has been selected as the second batch of distinguished professors of the "Yangtze River Scholars Award Program of the Ministry of Education". Professor Xue Yong has long been engaged in atmospheric aerosol remote sensing retrieval, surface atmospheric boundary layer energy exchange remote sensing, high-performance geoscience calculation and earth big data research. Since 1990, he has published more than 300 academic papers (more than 250 correspondents and first authors), of which more than 90 were included by SCI, and the impact factor of 18 articles is greater than 5.0. The papers have been cited 2059 times (Google Academic Search), and the total impact factor of published articles is 323.76. He has published two academic monographs (co-authored). More than 180 meetings were invited to report. He is currently the editorial board member of the SCI journal International Journal of Remote Sensing, the invited editorial board member of the SCI journal Future Generation Computer Systems, and the former editorial board member of the International Journal of Digital Earth (2006-2016). He has long served as the chairman of the UK/Ireland Branch of the IEEE Earth Science and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) (2006 - 2017).
