The impression of seal is in seal character. Xiang was originally a county within the jurisdiction of Sichuan Prefecture in Qin Dynasty. In Han Dynasty, it was within the jurisdiction of Pei Prefecture. The old site was at the foot of today's Mount Xiang of Huaibei City. This lute should be the seal of the deputy governor of Xiang County.
